Are you heading to Sao Paulo, Brazil, for the upcoming International Congress on Obesity (ICO)? Don’t miss this Pre-Congress Workshop: Evidence Generation to Policy Action!

Featuring speakers from the Latin American region and around the world, this half-day workshop aims to share international success stories in food policy advocacy, highlighting the valuable role of evidence and the involvement of researchers/academics along with civil society and other stakeholders. Workshop discussions will focus on identifying key capacities to be built among the research and NGO community to enable more effective influence in policy uptake. The workshop is co-hosted by the World Obesity Federation, COLANSA, Global Health Advocacy Incubator, and International Network for Obesity/Noncommunicable Diseases Research, Monitoring and Action Support (INFORMAS).

If you’re attending ICO, you can register your interest to join the workshop here, at no additional cost. We will follow up with the preliminary programme.
